Vue Storefront API tries to start itself on port 8080 and it’s already in use on your system. You can run docker ps in your terminal to see all containers and their ports.

@haelbichalex
Already this Jenkins runs in localhost:8080/
So
how to solve above the error to install vuestorefront api in ubuntu14.04

You can change the vs-api port by creating a local.json file in your config folder and editing the port (for examle changing it to 8090):

...
  "server": {
    "host": "localhost",
    "port": 8090,
    "searchEngine": "elasticsearch"
  },
...

More information about how to use the config files here: https://docs.vuestorefront.io/guide/basics/configuration.html

Hi @haelbichalex

(:handshake:Thanks :pray:) for giving some valuable tips and guide to me…

I solve that port 8080 issue through kill the process on already use port 8080.

Now I successfully Install&Run Vuestorefront-Api and Vuestorefront
